Elevate is a group of crazy and amazing 13 – 18 year olds who meet every Friday from 18h30 – 20h30 to have fun, meet and make new friends and grow in God!
We believe that the youth of today are not just the leaders of tomorrow, but they are our the leaders of today! They have incredible potential to impact the world around them if they have the faith and the motivation to do so! Elevate nights are filled with hang out time, games, worship, the Word, crazy challenges and some adventure!
It’s a brilliant opportunity for young people to be in a positive peer environment and learn about Jesus in a way that will empower them to make right choices and live out their dreams!
We are so excited to have added a new section to our ministry called Teens Life. Teens Life involves teens from Grade 8 – Grade 10. They Praise and Worship in the Main Hall and then as the message starts, they make their way to the Chapel where they engage in their own age appropriate ministries. For more info on this ministry area, please email us at email@example.com
Friendship, Belonging. Community. We all want a place where we can find true friendship and community. And we believe that God’s plan for our lives involves other people! No man is an island on their own, we are part of a bigger body, all connected to each other.
Jesus established water baptism as a commitment opportunity for believers when He gave the Great Commission message in Matthew 28:19 and Mark 16:16. Water Baptism is far more than a ritual or religious exercise. It is not only our personal choice, but it’s a command for those who are believers. We encourage all adult believers to take this important step, even if they had already been baptised as children.
Water Baptism is a public, outward declaration that reflects a personal, inward faith. It associates the believer with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and signifies the believer’s death to the old life and his or her resurrection as a new creation in Christ (Romans 6:1–8; Colossians 2:12, 2 Corinthians 5:17). In order to understand the reason for being water baptised, it is important to carefully consider what the Bible says about it.
If you wish to be baptised, please join us for a Baptism class which takes place once-a-month. You can book your spot at this class at the Information Desk.
We do baptisms on the second-last Sunday of every month (during the warmer months) and the Baptism class takes place on the Sunday before your Baptism.
We have a team of people who can be a listening ear or a shoulder to cry on. If you need support please contact our office to make an appointment.
