Elevate is the High School Ministry of New Life Church. At Elevate, we want to create Friday night environments that are not only attractive and ridiculously entertaining, but also completely unapologetic about the gospel of Jesus Christ and His plan for reconciliation. Wednesday nights bring with them a variety of elements including great worship, in-depth teaching and loads of exciting activities that engage teenagers on their level.

Circle Groups

Friendship, Belonging. Community.  We all want a place where we can find true friendship and community. And we believe that God’s plan for our lives involves other people! No man is an island on their own, we are part of a bigger body, all connected to each other.

Water Baptisim

Jesus established water baptism as a commitment opportunity for believers when He gave the Great Commission message in Matthew 28:19 and Mark 16:16. Water Baptism is far more than a ritual or religious exercise. It is not only our personal choice, but it’s a command for those who are  believers. We encourage all adult believers to take this important step, even if they had already been baptised as children.

Water Baptism is a public, outward declaration that reflects a personal, inward faith. It associates the believer with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and signifies the believer’s death to the old life and his or her resurrection as a new creation in Christ (Romans 6:1–8; Colossians 2:12, 2 Corinthians 5:17). In order to understand the reason for being water baptised, it is important to carefully consider what the Bible says about it.

If you wish to be baptised, please join us for a Baptism class which takes place once-a-month. You can book your spot at this class at the Information Desk.

We do baptisms on the last Sunday of every month (during the warmer months) and the Baptism classes always run the preceding Wednesday night at 18h30.

We have a team of people who can be a listening ear or a shoulder to cry on. If you need support please contact our office to make an appointment.
