Sponsor A Child
Imagine a large group of people who are really passionate about kids. Imagine someone inspiring and empowering that group of people to do something about the 1.1 billion children living in poverty. Imagine what could happen next…Now, imagine that someone is YOU!
With our sponsor a child initiative we aim to demonstrate God’s love and carry out His justice by helping those in need.
We are looking for people with the financial means to sponsor a child on a monthly basis. Your sponsorship will be deposited into the Inspire bank account, and New Life Church staff and volunteers will purchase food and clothing for the child you sponsor and deliver it to their household once-a-month.
Sponsorship is not just a financial transaction. Sponsorship is a special relationship built on both measurable, tangible gifts, and on the intangible – a Kingdom connection between two people that transcends language and culture, and broadens our understanding of what it means to be a part of the Kingdom of God.
The total monthly sponsorship amount that we need to clothe and feed a child is R500.00
With ‘Compassion’ being one of our key values at New Life Church, we strive to reach out both locally and abroad to the needy as well as those who have not yet come to the knowledge of Christ’s saving grace. One of the ways we do this is through Missions trips.
Our missions trips are carried out in two ways, in the form of One Day Missions in our local community that are arranged by New Life Church its self; and in the form of longer Missions trips to neighbouring countries in association with the Swaziland Missions Committee. The committee is a team of dedicated volunteers that aim to create sustainable outreach and discipleship programme as well as establish relationships with communities in Swaziland.
Our One Day Missions trips are open to anyone attending New Life Church who would like to volunteer by either visiting the identified place of need or by making donations. On the other hand, in regard to the Missions Trips, New Life Church members are encouraged to apply to attend a trip, and then a team is selected by the pastoral team. Volunteers can also support these mission trips through donations.
We are so excited to be in a season of expectancy! We are in the planning phase of building a children’s home here in Emalahleni. Although the city has a few homes for vulnerable children, they are ‘Places of safety’ and children only stay for a period of 6months before being placed into permanent Children’s Homes in Belfast or Middelburg.
The CV Bank is a platform where unemployed individuals can submit their CV’s. The CV’s are kept on file for 3 months & distributed to employers within the church / vacancies advertised on public platforms.
CV’s can be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org
